NHL Rumors: New York Rangers Shopping Defenseman

Libor Hajek has had a lot of trouble cementing himself a permanent spot in the New York Rangers’ lineup. As a result, he is becoming a prime trade candidate.

Hajek may benefit from a change of scenery, as it has become clear that a fit just isn’t there with the Rangers. However, when noting that he is still fairly young and a former top prospect, it certainly seems possible that another club will be open to the idea of claiming him.

Alas, as we get closer to the trade deadline, don’t be surprised to see the Blueshirts decide to move on from Hajek.
