NHL Rumors: Philadelphia Flyers Open For Business
The Philadelphia Flyers are ready for a fire sale and it could be beginning any moment. The team is among the worst in the NHL and this comes after the team finished with the least amount of points in the 2022 calendar year. Needless to say, trades are coming.
According to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, the Flyers are expected to considering just about any move that could benefit the future. The team needs to tear it completely and go through a full rebuild. The chance of drafting generational talent Connor Bedard is within reach and tanking this season should be on the fore front.
Among the Flyers trade candidates, look for James van Riemsdyk, Justin Braun, Travis Konecny, and Anthony DeAngelo to all be discussed in negotiations. Philly needs to acquire as many draft picks and prospects as possible and set themselves up to build their organization the right way.
