NHL Rumors: San Jose Sharks Shopping Winger

The San Jose Sharks have had another bad year, and they are expected to be major sellers at the deadline because of it. Stars like Erik Karlsson and Timo Meier are reportedly available, but now there are reports that Kevin Labanc is also available for the right price.

Labanc has quietly had a solid year this campaign, and his trade value is starting to increase again. This has been good to see, as he did struggle the last few years before this one. Yet, now that he is performing well again, there’s a good chance that we could see a playoff team look to bring him in if some of his salary is retained by the Sharks.

Teams looking to add a bit more scoring to their middle six should consider the prospect of acquiring Labanc from here. Alas, we will need to wait and see if the skilled Winger finds a new home before the deadline passes from here.
