NHL Rumors: Senators Forward Linked to Trade to Tampa Bay
According to Shawn Simpson of TSN, he could see the Tampa Bay Lightning trying to acquire Tyler Motte of the Ottawa Senators.
Motte is exactly what a team like TB will be adding at the deadline. A solid bottom 6 forward on a low dollar deal, that won't cost more than a 3rd round pick.

The Lightning are always a team to watch around trade deadline as general manager Julien BriseBois is never shy to pull the trigger on a surprising deal that looks like nothing, however ends up having massive impacts on the team.
The Lightning have acquired players like Barclay Goodrow and Blake Coleman in the past, and could once again be looking to fill out their third line and make their team much harder to play against heading into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Motte is coming back from injury and is due back in the lineup within the next week. Motte is 27 years old, a pending unrestricted free agent who is making $1.3 million against the cap. He's recorded nine points in 32 games, however is known for being a crash-and-bang player who loves to throw his body around and muck it up in the dirty areas of the ice. Motte is a prime trade candidate out of Ottawa and as Simpson mentions, is likely getting moved for a third or fourth-round draft pick.
