NHL Rumors: Winnipeg Jets Linked to Coyotes Forward
The Arizona Coyotes are set to be major sellers at the deadline this season, as they are currently near the bottom of the NHL standings. Players like Jakob Chychrun and Shayne Gostisbehere are their biggest trading assets, but Nick Ritchie is also getting attention from around the league. According to The Fourth Period, the Winnipeg Jets are interested in bringing in the power forward.
It is not surprising that the Jets are considering the prospect of bringing in Ritchie, as their third line could certainly use a boost. Ritchie would of course provide it with just that, as he has shown this season that he can chip in well offensively while also playing a very heavy game in the process. As a result, he is the perfect kind of player to add before the postseason.
With multiple teams looking to bring in the power forward, the Jets are going to have a lot of competition to acquire his services. We will need to wait and see if they end up being the team to successfully acquire him from here.
