Ottawa Senators Forward Placed On Waivers

The Ottawa Senators have placed Jacob Lucchini on waivers. 

Lucchini is a 27-year-old rookie who has played in his first 11 NHL games this season. During them, he has not been the biggest of factors, as he has one goal to go along with a minus-2 rating. Overall, this proved not enough for him to maintain a spot on their NHL roster, and now he is hitting the waiver wire because of it.

Lucchini could possibly get some attention on the wire from teams looking to add to their forward depth. Yet, if he clears, he will be returning to the AHL. In 25 games this season with the Belleville Senators this campaign, he has seven goals and 23 points. Needless to say, Belleville would be happy to have him and his strong production back in the lineup.
