Seattle Kraken Make Big Decision With Top Prospect

After barely being utilized by the Seattle Kraken earlier this season, Shane Wright with sent to play for Team Canada at the World Junior Championship. Yet, now that he has won a gold medal for Canada, Wright has been sent back to the OHL by Seattle.

This decision is not too surprising, as, like stated above, Wright was not used very often by Seattle during this campaign. Now, instead of being a healthy scratch for the majority of the year, he will be back in juniors lighting up the league.

It will be intriguing to see how he responds to this move from here. Although this is not what Seattle fans were hoping from him during his rookie campaign, there’s still so much time for him to develop into his full potential. Now, let’s see how many points he can put up in junior from here.
