Senators Forward Out for the Season
The tough year for Josh Norris just got even tougher as the Ottawa Senators forward is set to undergo his second shoulder surgery and Norris is expected to miss the rest of the season.
Norris recently came back from a shoulder issue which cost him 38 games this season, and now after only a three-game return, Norris will go back under the knife and be out for the rest of 2022-23. In eight games this season, he's managed to score twice and added one assist.

The 23-year-old Norris is supposed to be the Senators number one center, so this is certainly a major blow to their lineup. The Sens are on the outside looking in at a playoff position in the Eastern Conference, however management is committed to not give up on this season and are expected to make changes to add players before the March 3 trade deadline. With the recent Norris injury, perhaps Senators GM Pierre Dorion changes his direction and takes a run at drafting Connor Bedard via the NHL Draft Lottery system.
