Toronto Maple Leafs Make Roster Move
The Toronto Maple Leafs have sent down Joey Anderson to the American Hockey League (AHL).
Anderson's demotion has opened up a roster spot for the Maple Leafs to activate Rasmus Sandin whenever he's ready to return to the lineup.
Anderson had earned himself a spot on Toronto's roster, but the addition of Dryden Hunt changed things on that front. In seven games this season with the Leafs, Anderson has one goal to go along with a minus-2 rating. We will have to wait and see if he can earn himself another call-up at some point this campaign.
