It was reported that the Canucks were having extension talks with Kuzmenko, and now a deal has officially been finalized. Kuzmenko was hoping for a short-term, and now he has gotten just that to stay in Vancouver. As a result, one Canucks potential trade candidate is off the board.
Kuzmenko has been an excellent addition to the Canucks since his arrival this season, and now he will remain in Vancouver for two more years. Alas, we will need to wait and see how he responds to earning this wonderful raise from here.
