He played the full shortened season of 2020-2021, but otherwise Mark Stone seems to have hit a lot of injury issues since joining the Knights. Only played 37 games last season. https://t.co/LwOGoU45kP

Stone has had a series of injury troubles in recent seasons. The Golden Knights captain has appeared in 43 games this season and has recorded 38 points. He hasn't played a full 82-game season ever in his 10 year career.
The Golden Knights currently sit with a 28-13-2 record for tops in the Pacific Division and first overall in the Western Conference. Vegas will now turn to the likes of Jack Eichel, Phil Kessel and Jonathan Marchessault to carry the load while Stone is away from the team.
