Winnipeg Jets Place Forward on Waivers

The Winnipeg Jets have placed Jansen Harkins on waivers.

Harkins has played in 22 games this season for the Jets, where he has three goals to go along with two helpers. Selected in the second round with the 47th pick of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Jets, Harkins was never able to blossom into a middle-six winger. Now, he is on the waiver wire due to the Jets' solid forward depth.

Teams looking for a potential fourth-line forward could consider the possibility of claiming Harkins. In 154 career NHL games, he has 13 goals, 27 points, and a minus-8 rating.
