Kulikov may not be as big of a name as players like Jakob Chychrun and Vladislav Gavrikov, but he is a veteran defenseman who works quite well on the bottom pairing because of his solid defensive reliability and physical style of play. With that, he also can play both sides, so he could serve as a strong option for either the Jets' bottom pairing or even as a seventh defenseman.

Kulikov is going to garner more interest when Chychrun and Gavrikov find new homes, so the Jets should work very hard now to try to land him. Alas, we will need to wait and see if Kulikov ends up becoming a Jet before the deadline passes from here.
