Arizona Coyotes Rumors: Insider Links Gostisbehere to Contender
While on Hockey Night in Canada, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that the Edmonton Oilers are aiming to add a puck-moving defenseman before the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline, and Arizona Coyotes defenseman could be on their radar because of it.

Although there is understandably a lot of hype surrounding a Chychrun trade, Gostisbehere is also a very appealing trade target heading into the deadline. This is because he has completely gotten his career back on track as a Coyote and is once again a very good offensive defenseman at the NHL level. The truth is in his stats, as he has nine goals and 29 points in 48 games with a bad Coyotes club.
Gostisbehere could be an excellent rental for the Oilers, and this is especially true if his stats go up while playing with superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Alas, we will now need to wait and see if Gostisbehere becomes an Oiler from here.
