Canucks Rumors: Insider Links Boeser to Division Rival
The Calgary Flames have had a year of mixed results so far this campaign, and the primary reason behind this has been their scoring woes. Due to this, they are expected to be active buyers at the trade deadline in an attempt to alleviate this ongoing issue. In a recent piece for Daily Faceoff, NHL insider Frank Seravalli noted that the Flames could be a potential landing spot for Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser because of this.
If there was ever a classic change-of-scenery guy available, it's #Canucks Brock Boeser.

Boeser is an intriguing name in the rumor mill as we get closer to the trade deadline. The 25-year-old winger was once viewed as a potential long-term part of the Canucks' core, but things have changed on that front. The Minnesota native has also struggled a bit this season, as he has nine goals and 30 points in 42 games. Although that is still solid production, it is noticeably lower than it was during his the beginning stages of his career.
Perhaps a change of scenery could be what helps Boeser regroup and get his career back on track. It is clear that the Flames are a good match for him on paper, but will Vancouver do business with a division rival? Alas, we will need to wait and see at the deadline.
