Chicago Blackhawks Rumors: Insider Links Kane Trade to 5 Teams

The Patrick Kane trade rumors are running wild as a trade is expected to transpire in the next two weeks. The Chicago Blackhawks forward is not happy with management and will be giving his list of approvals in the coming days. According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, a Kane deal will likely come down to one of five teams.

The Dallas Stars, Vegas Golden Knights, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers appear to be the favorites at this point who have the most interest. There's been a ton of speculation brewing about a few things including Kane's hip, and where he'd approve a deal as he holds all the cards with his no-movement clause.

The Maple Leafs played the Blackhawks earlier this week and they matchup again on Sunday. If they don't make a move on Monday for Kane, it's like they didn't like what they saw this week from the veteran winger.

If NHLTR had to put a favorite on the board at this point, it's likely the Dallas Stars. While Kane would prefer the Rangers, Dallas will likely be the most aggressive and are looking for a top-six winger to compliment their group. They have a legit chance to win the Stanley Cup which could entice Kane to approve the trade.

So far in 50 games this season, Kane has recorded 35 points. It's his worst season offensively in his career and some wonder if he's fully healthy. Look for more information to be released next week on where Kane wants to play the rest of this season.
