Chicago Blackhawks Rumors: Wild Being Linked to Winger
The Chicago Blackhawks are set to be major sellers, and players like Patrick Kane, Max Domi, Jake McCabe, and Jonathan Toews are their biggest trade candidates. Yet, NHL insider Frank Seravalli noted that Taylor Raddysh is also emerging as a possible trade piece. With that, Seravalli linked the Minnesota Wild to him.
The Blackhawks showed last season that they are not afraid to trade young players if they can a big return for them. With Raddysh emerging as an effective middle-six winger and having an immensely affordable $758,333 cap hit, his trade value is certainly high. As a result, the Wild would need to give up a good amount to land him, but it would be worth it when noting that he has the potential to become a top-six winger.
The Wild are going to be in serious trouble with their salary cap moving forward due to the Ryan Suter/Zach Parise buyouts, so a cheap player but effective player like Raddysh should surely have their attention. Alas, we will need to wait and see if a deal occurs between the two clubs because of it from here.
