Columbus Blue Jackets Rumors: Goalie Trade Coming
The Columbus Blue Jackets held out goaltender Joonas Korpisalo from Tuesday's action as he sat for trade-related reasons. Management continues to work on a trade and it sounds like a deal could be in the works with the Los Angeles Kings.

Rumblings tonight around the L.A. Kings and their interest in a package deal with Columbus that could include both Gavrikov and Korpisalo. Good times.

Kings GM Rob Blakes wants to add some goaltending depth and Korpisalo makes sense for numerous reasons including his $1.3 million cap hit. He's a pending free agent and the Kings are also in the market for some help on the left side of their blueline so a bigger deal involving Gavrikov makes sense.
The two teams continue to chat and if things fall through, the likes of the Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils, and Pittsburgh Penguins all could have some interest before Friday afternoon.
