Detroit Red Wings Rumors: Latest on Tyler Bertuzzi
The Detroit Red Wings have some decisions to make this week as general manager Steve Yzerman is a busy man. Not only is his team in a playoff race, they have some roster decisions that will need to be made ahead of the trade deadline, 3pm est Friday.
One player in particular is being discussed a ton of late and that's pesky forward Tyler Bertuzzi. He's a pending unrestricted free agent who hasn't come close to an agreement with Yzerman on a contract extension throughout this season. Talks have apparently stalled once again and a trade could be on the horizon.
A refresher for the trade market? Big week for the Red Wings. With how Boston, Toronto and Tampa Bay have loaded up, Detroit is again listening to interest in Bertuzzi. Ask is a 1st plus. https://t.co/vvXyYOjQEz

According to Darren Dreger the Red Wings want at least a first-round pick. Bertuzzi is having a down season with only 13 points in 27 games, including just three goals, however last season in 68 games, he put up 62 points.
The Carolina Hurricanes and Pittsburgh Penguins are two teams to keep an eye on as they both search for a boost up front.
