Novak has quietly had a strong season for the Predators when called upon, and he is making a case for himself to be a full-time NHL player because of it. In 20 games on the year, the 25-year-old center has four goals to go along with 11 points. Although those numbers are not jaw-dropping, it is encouraging to see that he is producing at above a point every two games pace.
Novak has also been quite productive while with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL this campaign, as he has 11 goals and 26 points in 25 contests. With all of this, he has earned himself another year with the Predators organization. We will need to wait and see how he responds to this new contract through his play from here.
