New Jersey Devils Rumors: Forward Being Linked to Sharks

The New Jersey Devils have been one of the biggest teams linked to San Jose Sharks star Timo Meier. Now, it appears that the Sharks have a Devil on their radar, San Jose is reportedly interested in Fabian Zetterlund.

It would make sense for Zetterlund to be one of the pieces that heads back the other in a Meier blockbuster, as he is a young forward with plenty of upside. The 23-year-old winger has had a solid season with the Devils, as he has six goals, 20 points, and a plus-4 rating in 44 games played. As a result, he could be a strong addition to the Sharks' middle six upon his arrival.

Zetterlund appears to have the potential to become a legitimate second-line forward, so we will need to wait and see if the Sharks end up demanding him as a piece back in any move centering around Meier. Time will tell what happens on that front from here.
