NHL Rumors: Chicago Blackhawks Forward Becoming Trade Candidate

The Chicago Blackhawks are going to be one of the biggest sellers at the 2023 Trade Deadline. Pending UFAs like Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and Max Domi have been getting a ton of buzz because of it, but now a new trade candidate seems to be emerging. NHL insider Frank Seravalli has added Taylor Raddysh to his Trade Targets board for Daily Faceoff.

The Blackhawks have shown during their rebuild that they are not afraid to trade young players if it results in them landing assets that have the potential to help the club's future. Players like Brandon Hagel, Alex DeBrincat, and Kirby Dach were all traded since the team started their rebuild started last season, so it wouldn't be all that surprising if Raddysh is the next player to follow that trend.

Raddysh has been having a strong season with the Blackhawks, too, as he has set new career highs with 13 goals and 24 points. He could be a very solid addition to a playoff team's third line, as he offers secondary scoring and physicality. However, when noting that he is just 24 years old, non-playoff clubs could also target him. Alas, we will need to wait and see what happens with the 2016 second-round pick from here.
