In a recent piece for Daily Faceoff, NHL insider Frank Seravalli reported that "Farabee's camp voiced their displeasure to the Flyers" about how this season has gone with head coach John Tortorella. Yet, it is also important to note that Seravalli wrote that Farabee has NOT requested a trade at the time of this writing.
Still, Farabee is a player who may benefit from a change of scenery. He is not being utilized properly with the Flyers and clearly does not mesh well with Torts. The 22-year-old winger would certainly get interest around the league if officially made available, so we will need to wait and see if something comes from this.
In 59 games this season, Farabee has nine goals, 26 points, and a minus-3 rating.
