St Louis Blues: Blockbuster Trade Offer Rejected
The St Louis Blues are open to just about any type of trade ahead of this season's trade deadline as general manager Doug Armstrong continues to work the phones. While most of the moves so far have been with rebuilding in mind, turns out the Blues also tried to re-tool on the fly.
The Blues sent a mega-offer to the San Jose Sharks which included two first-round picks, however, unfortunately the Sharks decided to reject the offer and then shipped Meier to the New Jersey Devils.
Friedman on TJMS talking Blues offer for Meier: “I think St. Louis offered 2 guaranteed 1st RDers, I don’t know that for sure, but I believe they did”.

As for what's to still come the Blues continue to discuss deals ahead of the March 3 deadline. The likes of Colton Parayko and Torey Krug continue to dominant trade interest and there's been some chatter about Pavel Buchnevich's availability.
Colton Parayko is not on the ice for practice today. Make of that what you will! #stlblues

Keep an eye on the Blues as they are loaded with draft picks and have some interesting prospects and players among their roster who could fetch a huge return.
