Arizona Coyotes Rumors: Jakob Chychrun Trade Offers Rejected
The Arizona Coyotes continue to discuss defenseman Jakob Chychrun on the trade market and it sounds like a deal could be announced as early as Wednesday. Chychrun was once again held out of the Coyotes lineup on Tuesday night for trade-related reasons and talks have advanced this morning.
Teams are poised, hoping for a price drop on Chychrun. Buffalo is staying close. Columbus has some collateral after the trade with the Kings and is interested. Ottawa is always willing to listen and the Sens are on a roll. Question is, will there be a price drop?

As Darren Dreger mentions, the asking price remains steep and teams aren't yet willing to budge. The Coyotes want two first-round picks, one prospect and are willing to take back a bad contract to facilitate the move financially.
This is a situation where the data and the video are in total alignment. No gaps at all. Chychrun is like 5G internet. He enhances the connection between your offense and defense. He is the connection, really. And he's so good defensively, too. Mobility kills. Dude can skate. pic.twitter.com/OW07zWG7Qg

The Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres are all heavily interested, meanwhile the Toronto Maple Leafs remain a wild card team in the sweepstakes.
Look for the Coyotes to finally give Chychrun what he wants ahead of the deadline and expect the trade to be one of the biggest we've seen this season.
