Blue Jackets Goalie Pissed Off With Recent Trade
In one of the more surprising moves ahead of the 2023 trade deadline, the Los Angeles Kings are sending goaltender Jonathan Quick in a trade package to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Kings legend is not happy about the pending move and word is he's already been displaying his frustration to management and anyone else who will listen:
A late night trade of significance. Jonathan Quick learned postgame he’s going to CBJ. A 1st and 3rd to CBJ also believed to be part of the return for Gavrikov and Korpisalo. End of an era for the Kings. https://t.co/utJ1t8QVtC

To say Jonathan Quick is unhappy with the trade, I'm told, is "an understatement."

The entire #LAKings team was a bit down after the game, a win, and you could understandably see it in Anze Kopitar's face after a 4-goal night.
Tough deal, Kings trading a franchise legend.
Quick is likely not going to show in Columbus and if he does, expect him to ask Blue Jackets management to move him before the trade deadline. The 37-year-old is a pending free agent who has played 743 career regular season games for the Kings franchise, to go along with 92 Stanley Cup Playoff games and a Cup ring. Where's the loyalty?
Patrick Kane and Jonathan Quick…
