Boston Bruins Forward Suspended For One Game
The Boston Bruins have been the best team in the NHL from the beginning of the 2022/23 season to now, and with the playoff approaching, it appears that they're ready to hit their strides and make a deep run for another Stanley Cup.
Last time out, the Bruins took down a struggling Canadiens team 4-2, their 5th straight victory, but unfortunately, it hasn't come without a cost, as fourth-line forward A.J. Greer has been suspended for one game following a cross-check to the face of Montreal's Mike Hoffman.
In 52 games this year, Greer has 5 goals and 6 assists for 11 points, but leads the team in PIM with 85, so it's clear that he was just doing his job on Thursday. Unfortunately however, the cross-check to the face crossed the line, and Greer will now miss the Saturday battle against the Tampa Bay Lightning, a game in which Boston could use to make a massive statement to the rest of the Eastern Conference.Boston’s A.J.
