Carolina Hurricanes & Arizona Coyotes Complete Trade
The Carolina Hurricanes are staying busy as they've made their second trade in as many days, this time acquiring Shayne Gostisbehere from the Arizona Coyotes.
The pending unrestricted free agent was coveted by a number of teams looking for some more offense from the back end and ends up with the Canes. Gostisbehere is a power-play specialist and someone who is having a strong season on a struggling team.
Further to @PierreVLeBrun report, the #hurricanes send a third-round pick to Arizona for Shayne Gostisbehere.

So far in 52 games this season in the desert, the 29-year-old has recorded 31 points in 52 games. The Hurricanes lost Max Pacioretty for the season recently and have decided to use some of the LTIR money, first on Jesse Puljujarvi and now Gostisbehere.
The Coyotes continue to talk trades as they'll be moving Jakob Chychrun and Nick Bjugstad at some point before Friday afternoon.
