Colorado Avalanche Head Coach Signs Three Year Extension
Over the past few years, the Colorado Avalanche have established themselves as a genuine threat in the Western Conference, but it wasn't until Jared Bednar took over as their Head Coach that they began to improve on the ice.
After winning a Championship in the ECHL and AHL, he came into the role with plenty of experience behind him, and after taking steps each and every year with the Avalanche, he finally led them to their third Stanley Cup Championship in franchise history in 2022, and now he's been handsomely rewarded for that success.
Today, the Avalanche officially announced that after six and a half seasons, Jared Bednar has signed a three-year extension with the team, and given the ups and downs that the franchise had at the position before he arrived, this will come as fantastic news to Avs fans.Signed, sealed, delivered ✍️#GoAvsGo pic.twitter.com/6VyaqQnJFl
