Ottawa Senators Acquire Arizona Coyotes Jakob Chychrun

The Arizona Coyotes have traded defenseman Jakob Chychrun to the Ottawa Senators for three draft picks. The Coyotes finally cave and decide to accept an offer as Chychrun will be happy to get back into game shape. 

The Senators were in the market for good hockey deals and league wide it appears they've been given the stamp of approval with this one. General manager Pierre Dorion could still be active as the Friday afternoon deadline approaches. 

As for Chychrun he hasn't played since February 10th and was a on a roll before he began to sit for trade-related reasons. In 36 games he's produced 28 points and the Senators add his contract of $4.6 million annually through the 2024-25 season. 

Austin Watson and Cam Talbot are two names to watch as Dorion continues to talk.
