Pittsburgh Penguins & Vegas Golden Knights Complete Trade
The Vegas Golden Knights have added some depth up front as they've acquired Pittsburgh Penguins checking center Teddy Blueger. The Penguins will receive a 2024 third-round pick and defenseman Peter DiLiberatore in exchange.
Through 45 games this season, Blueger is having a down season, recording two goals and eight assists. He's a defensive-minded forward who is best suited for a shut-down role and he's shown when he's on his game, Blueger is one of the best in the business in that category.

The newest Golden Knight is a pending unrestricted free agent who is owed $2.2 million against the cap this season. As for DiLiberatore, he's a 22-year-old blueliner who has posted three points in 18 AHL games. He was originally selected in the sixth round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
Look for both teams to stay busy ahead of the Friday afternoon deadline.
