Tampa Bay Lightning & San Jose Sharks Complete Trade
The Tampa Bay Lightning and San Jose Sharks have agreed to a trade that sends forward Vladislav Namestnikov to the Sharks in exchange for forward Michael Eyssimont.
The Lightning are retaining half of Namestnikov's $2.5 million cap hit for the rest of this season. He's a pending unrestricted free agent and is one of the only NHL players who have been traded five times in the past five seasons. So far in 2022-23 he's collected 15 points in 57 games and will get some big minutes to end the season in San Jose.

Eyssimont has some team control as a pending RFA. He's a recent waiver claim and not someone the organization was all that tied too. Eyssimont is due $750,000 on the cap this season and will be hard pressed to crack the Lightning lineup on a regular basis. Considering the move, it's expected Tampa Bay makes another move ahead of Friday's deadline.
