Toronto Maple Leafs Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Candidates
Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' Offseason Trade Candidates series. During it, we will be looking at three players from each team who could be moved during the summer.
In this latest episode, we will be focusing on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Nicholas Robertson: Nicholas Robertson is a player who we could see moved this offseason if the Maple Leafs want to bring in a high-impact player. Toronto’s strong forward depth mixed with Robertson’s injury trouble has made it hard for him to become a full-time NHL player, so perhaps he would be open to a change of scenery.
Semyon Der-Arguchintsev: The Maple Leafs have another young asset with some trade value in Semyon Der-Arguchintsev. Although SDA does not possess the same potential as Robertson, he has the tools to blossom into an effective bottom-six forward later down the road. Thus, look for rebuilding teams to call the Leafs about him
Joseph Woll: The Maple Leafs may have found their long-term tandem with Ilya Samsonov and Matt Murray. Due to this, they could be open to the idea of moving Joseph Woll if it results in them bringing in a player who can help their roster now. The young goalie has plenty of promise, so he should get some interest this summer.
