Vancouver Canucks Rumors: LA Kings Defenseman On Team's Radar

The Vancouver Canucks are in a retooling period and are trying to become more competitive in the process. As a result of this, they are expected to be active during free agency this summer, and there are reports that they have Vladislav Gavrikov on their radar.

Gavrikov is a pending unrestricted, free agent, and he is expected to test the open market this offseason. When noting that he is a solid top-four defenseman who plays a very reliable defensive game, he is exactly the kind of player that the Canucks could use right now. With that, he also provides a bit of physicality to go along with some offensive production, so he is a solid all-around player.

When noting that several teams were linked to Gavrikov before he was eventually dealt to the Los Angeles Kings, he is expected to have a big market as a free agent.
