Washington Capitals Forward Requests Trade

The Washington Capitals 2022/23 season certainly hasn't gone the way anyone expected or hoped, and now that they find themselves on the cusp of being eliminated from a playoff spot, they've got more internal drama to deal with.

After first asking the Capitals for a trade two years ago, veteran forward Evgeny Kuznetzov has officially done so again, and with the team likely to try and get younger this off-season, the chances he gets moved are now better than ever.

Kuznetsov haș been with Washington since the 2013/14 season, and was a crucial component of their Stanley Cup win back in 2018, and after scoring 12 goals and 40 assists for 52 points this season, it's clear he's got plenty left to offer, so there will no doubt be a market for him this off-season.
