Boston Bruins Stunned By No. 8 Seed Florida Panthers In Game 7
After one of the most impressive regular seasons in NHL history in which they registered a record 133 points, but now, they are headed home after a gut-wrenching Game 7 loss against the surprising No. 8 seed Florida Panthers.
Despite being 3-1 up in Game 7, the Panthers scored twice, including in the final minute of regulation to force overtime, which led to a Carter Verhague game winner that sent the Bruins home and the Panthers onwards to face the Toronto Maple Leafs.
It's tough to say what the bigger story is here, whether it is the decline of the dominant Bruins or the fearlessness on display by the Panthers, but either way, the NHL playoffs have started with a monumental upset, and only appear to be getting better.PANTHERS JUST UPSET THE BRUINS IN THE FIRST ROUND
