Buffalo Sabres Rumors: Blues Defenseman On Team's Radar

The Buffalo Sabres are heading into the 2022-23 season with the expectation of finally breaking their 12-year playoff drought. As a result, they should have a busy summer, and one player who is reportedly on their radar is Colton Parayko.

It is not a secret that the Sabres are looking to improve the right side of their defensive group. After all, it is arguably the weakest part of their roster at this time, so bringing in a quality top-four defenseman like Parayko could be a marvelous way to help change things on that front. He could be the perfect partner for Rasmus Dahlin and a fine addition to their penalty kill.

Parayko carries a $6.5 million cap hit until the end of the 2029-30 season, so he would be far more than just a rental for the Sabres if acquired. With that, he carrie a full no-trade clause, so he would need to approve the move for it to come to fruition. We will need to wait an see if anything comes from the Sabres' interest in parayko from here.
