Canucks Brock Boeser Comments on Potential Offseason Trade
The Vancouver Canucks held their end of the season media availability with a number of their core players recently and one thing was very clear from forward Brock Boeser, he'd like to put the constant trade rumors behind him and made it very clear to management he wants to stick around.
"To be completely honest with you, I don't want to be traded."

With Rick Tocchet behind the bench, Boeser was given a bigger and more consistent role, much like we've seen throughout the early stages of his career. Boeser's vote of confidence to the organization was shocking to some considering how he was treated throughout this season.
The 26-year-old winger has two seasons left on his current contract, paying him $6.5 million annually. Boeser finished the 2022-23 campaign recording 18 goals and 55 points in 74 games. His -20 rating is something he'll need to work on next season as Boeser needs to become more responsible in his own end.
While there's expected to be a number of big moves coming from the Canucks this summer, for now, expectation is Boeser is going to be back come opening night 2023-24.
