Carolina Hurricanes Goaltender Out For Game Two With Illness
The Carolina Hurricanes have got very lofty expectations for the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and after a solid performance in game one against the New York Islanders, they'll look to back it up and go up 2-0 in the series on Wednesday.
For this crucial matchup, it appears that Antti Raanta will be the starting goaltender, with veteran Frederik Andersen reportedly out due to an illness, which will no doubt be a big blow to the team in the unfortunate circumstance that Raanta leaves the game.
With a deep offensive and defensive unit, the Hurricanes will remain confident heading into this one, but if Andersen is to miss several games, it will no doubt be a blow to this team going forward.Antti Raanta, tonight's expected starter, leads the #Canes out of the tunnel for warmups.
