Carolina Hurricanes Looking To Sign Young NCAA Goalie
The Carolina Hurricanes are just days away from clinching the Metropolitan Division, but it's clear that they're certainly still looking towards the future, as they reportedly have their eyes on one of the biggest names in college hockey.
After leading Quinnipac to the recent NCAA Championship, the Hurricanes now have a great shot at signing 23-year old goaltender Yaniv Perets, who was crucial in the recent run to the NCAA title, and would be a fantastic piece for the future of this team.
In 41 games this past season, Perets constructed a 34-4-3 record with a .931 save percentage and 1.49 GAA, and while he's not going to get the chance to start immediately, he has been elite over the past three years, and would be a fantastic addition for Carolina.Hearing CAR with a great shot at signing G Yaniv Perets, who backstopped Quinnipiac to NCAA title. Should be no surprise…no NHL coach saw him more than teammate Skyler Brind’Amour’s father
