Colorado Avalanche Captain To Miss 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs

The Colorado Avalanche put together an incredible 2021/22 season en route to their third Stanley Cup Championship in franchise history, and this year, they'll be looking to replicate that success after a fantastic regular season.

Unfortunately though, the team confirmed some terrible news on Thursday, as Captain Gabriel Landeskog will officially miss the entire playoffs due to a knee injury that has kept him out for the entire regular season thus far.

Even without Landeskog, this forward group is one of the quickest, deepest and most talented in the league, and if they can get good goaltending and another elite performance from Cale Makar, this could be a back-to-back performance.
