Maple Leafs Make Lineup Changes Ahead of Canadiens Matchup
The Toronto Maple Leafs will play their final home game of the regular season against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night and expect to see veteran forward Wayne Simmonds in the lineup.
The #Leafs have indeed called up Wayne Simmonds while assigning Joseph Woll to the Marlies. Toronto can do this since Matt Murray is not on any sort of injured list and they have two goalies on their roster.

Tomorrow will be interesting.

The team recalled Simmonds for Saturday's game as this very well could be his last home game not only as a Maple Leaf, but in the NHL. There's been some speculation brewing that Simmonds is contemplating retirement following the 2022-23 season.
So far in 17 games this season, the 34-year-old Simmonds has chipped in with two assists and has yet to score a goal. Scoring tonight at home vs the Canadiens would be a storybook ending to his 15th season in the league.
