Nashville Predators Rumors: Forward Becoming Offseason Trade Candidate

The Nashville Predators were major sellers at the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline, and that is expected to carry over to the summer. One specific player who is emerging as an offseason trade candidate for the Predators because of this is Matt Duchene.

The Predators reportedly listened to offers for Duchene leading up to the deadline. However, with several playoff teams having limited cap space, it was hard for the Predators to move him and his $8 million cap hit. However, with teams having more money available during the summer due to expiring contracts, it should be easier for Nashville to find the veteran forward another home.
