NHL Rumors: Ottawa Senators Star Could Be Traded This Off-Season
The Ottawa Senators were arguably the most active team during the 2022 NHL off-season, acquiring stars such as Claude Giroux and Alex DeBrincat, but after one disappointing season as a team, it appears the latter could already be on his way out.
While nothing has been officially indicated, reports are that DeBrincat has no inclination of signing long-term in Ottawa, and now, could be moved for the second straight off-season on draft night, with any team taking him on likely wanting to get a long-term deal done
In his lone season in Ottawa, DeBrincat played in all 82 games, recording 27 goals and 39 assists for a 66 point campaign, and with so much talent and plenty of hockey ahead of him, there will no doubt be plenty of suitors for his services going forward.Garrioch believes DeBrincat 'has no inclination of signing' in Ottawa, could be moved at draft
