Seattle Kraken Give Update On Star Forward's Injury
The Seattle Kraken have been fighting way above their weight thus far in the post-season, taking two of the first four games from the Colorado Avalanche, doing everything they can to win the first series in franchise history, but it's now been revealed that they may need to do so without one of their most important pieces.
After an incident in the corner with Cale Makar, Jared McCann left the game with an injury, and while coach Dave Hakstol hasn't clarified what that injury is, he has revealed that at the very least, McCann will miss Game 5, and potentially more.
This would be a devastating blow to a young, deep Kraken team that have relied on McCann this season to the tune of 40 goals and 30 assists for 70 points, and if he misses the rest of the series, it's tough to see them overcoming the defending champs.SEA coach Dave Hakstol says Jared McCann will miss Game 5 and possibly longer. He disagrees with penalty being reduced to a minor. Very unhappy.
