Seattle Kraken Punch Ticket To The Playoffs For The First Time In Franchise History
The Seattle Kraken's first season in the NHL came in 2021/22, and while there were certainly bright spots, they struggled for the most part, but now, a year later, they've become a genuine force in the Pacific Division.
On Thursday, the team officially punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time in franchise history, and while a tough first round matchup against Vegas, Edmonton or Los Angeles is on the way, they come into that full of confidence.
While there's no one star leading this team, they are one of the deepest in the Western Conference, with three players scoring 60 points on the season, and a further 4 between 40 and 56 points, and while their inexperience in the big moments may cost them, this is a big step forward for the franchise.WE.
