St. Louis Blues Rumors: Forward On Team’s Radar

The St. Louis Blues had a very disappointing season and missed the playoffs because of it. They are expected to have a busy offseason to try to turn things around, and one player who they have on their radar is Sean Monahan.

It is not a secret that the Blues need help down the middle, and this is especially so when noting that they traded away Ryan O'Reilly at the deadline. With this year's free agency class not being the strongest ever, Monahan stands as one of the best centers potentially available. Therefore, it is not surprising that they are looking at him as a potential option.

Monahan was limited to only 25 games this season with the Montreal Canadiens due to injury. However, he was effective during them, as he had six goals and 17 points. Overall, he could be a solid player to sign to an affordable, one-year prove-it deal. Alas, we will now need to wait and see if the Blues sign him from here.
