Washington Capitals Part Ways With Two Assistant Coaches
The Washington Capitals, despite all of their veteran talent struggled through the 2022/23 season, and unfortunately, for the first time in quite some time, they missed the playoffs, which is clearly leading to some big changes.
After moving on from their Head Coach in recent days, the team have now also parted ways with two assistant coaches in Kevin McCarthy and Blaine Forsythe, signalling that more big changes could be on the way in Washington.
With a lot of their veteran core still intact, there's a good chance that with a few tweaks, this team could bounce back behind Alex Ovechkin in a big way in 2023/24, but for now, it appears they'll be an all new coaching staff.NEWS | The Washington Capitals and assistant coaches Kevin McCarthy and Blaine Forsythe have agreed to part ways.https://t.co/Neq2bT9E2Q
