Winnipeg Jets Forward Officially Ruled Out For Game Three
The Winnipeg Jets surprisingly took a massive Game One against the Vegas Golden Knights, and after a loss in Game Two, they head back home looking to capitalize, but if they are to do that, it appears they'll need to do so without one of their top forwards.
After sustaining an injury on April 11 against the Minnesota Wild, Nikolaj Ehlers has yet to be medically cleared to play, and although he reportedly wants to get back on the ice, the Jets medical staff will not clear him for Game Three.
Even without Ehlers, the Jets have been a handful for Vegas offensively, and if they can somehow get him back in this series, Winnipeg will have a very good shot at knocking off the top seeded Vegas Golden Knights.Nik Ehlers has not been cleared by the #Jets’ medical staff…He will not play in G3 vs #VGK this afternoon.#StanleyCupPlayoffs
