Winnipeg Jets Offer Injury Update On Star Forward
The Winnipeg Jets fell to the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4 of their first-round series, falling behind 3-1, but it was the dubious non-tripping call that has raised the ire of many a Jets fan, and now, the team have an update on star forward Mark Scheifele.
Thankfully for the Jets chances of a comeback, Head Coach Rick Bowness has revealed that Scheifele is feeling better today, and the team are hopeful that he will return for a crucial Game 5, some good news amongst plenty of bad news for the Jets.
Scheifele has managed just 1 goal in the first four games of the series, but has dealt with some injury issues, so if he can stay healthy for Game 5 and beyond, this team has a chance at an unbelievable comeback, even if it's not realistic.WIN head coach Rick Bowness says Mark Scheifele is feeling better today, “hopeful” for Game 5.
